We are back after our break and on this week's episode we have Liz Patient on the podcast, otherwise known as Pilates for Runners. Liz is a certified pilates instructor, avid runner and mum to 2 boisterous and beautiful boys. Practicing pilates has changed her life - improving posture, keeping her strong and fit during both pregnancies and then helping with post pregnancy recovery, as well as reducing lower back pain. She has adapted her own pilates practice to improve her running and reduce the risk of injury, which led her on to creating effective pilates sessions specifically for runners. In the episode we discuss why pilates is so beneficial for runners, how pilates has impacted her life and the lives of those around her, some basic exercises we can all be doing to improve our running and much more...
